Welcome to The Dream Pool Foundation Website. The Dream Pool Foundation is a non-profit organization celebrating a continued mission to support aspiring artists through encouragement and scholarship opportunities. The Dream Pool Foundation has been created in honor of Carrie Stuckert. Carrie was a loving and kind person who held a passion for the visual arts. Carrie believed in the importance of education and teaching others how to express themselves through art. While attending the Institute of Art and Design Carrie worked as an activity aid, encouraging creative expression for the elderly. Carrie's dream was to start a company called Dream Pool. Family and friends lost Carrie in December of 2005. The Dream Pool Foundation was created as a tribute and remembrance to Carrie's beautiful life and passion for the visual arts. Every penny that comes to Dream Pool becomes part of the foundation and future scholarships. The Dream Pool Foundation has no paid employees but has continued to grow through a tremendous amount of volunteer support. Many, many, hands and hearts, all believing in the Dream Pool mission, have been a part of this journey. The success of these voluntary efforts will come to life through the artistic endeavors of the scholarship recipients. We thank each and every one of you for your time and belief in Dream Pool. Carrie would be so very proud. |
